Knights place equestrian stables

Knights Place Riding Stables 

The Pony Club Girls have been thinking of ways in which they can help the stables during this hard horrid time. 

Due to having no lessons or clubs whatsoever the stables are now struggling financially. All ponies and horses still require feed and hay, feet trims and shoes.  Fields are currently more mud than grass so more hay and feed is required. The expenses still continue!and with no income coming in, it is becoming a real challenge. 

The pony club runs twice a week (obv before lockdown) and the girls absolutely love it. 

So they have come up with a sponsor 5k nighttime walk, where they will be using glow sticks to look like stick men.   The event will take place in their own time over the 1st weekend of February. 

All the children will be doing this event with their household only so that they are sticking to the guidelines and will be using this walk as their daily exercise.    We have asked the parents to take videos and pics so that we can put them all on the knights place Facebook page. 

We couldn’t be prouder of the girls for doing this and trying to raise funds to support their riding school.  What a fab bunch of girls we have.
