Hey friends and family, we have been faced with a tough decision to swallow our pride and reach out for your help. My wife Katie has a massive tear in her meniscus from a snowboarding accident that requires surgery. Unfortunately, we were under the impression that she was covered on insurance, but the hospital informed us that is not the case. We have tried every possible avenue to acquire insurance, and have come up unsuccessful. We will have to come out of pocket for the medical expenses including an ER visit, MRI, anesthesia, surgery costs and physical therapy. Not to mention, she will be out of work for at least 2 months.
