Knee surgery for a pup
This sweet girl is Annie. She was rescued by a kind, thoughtful, selfless flight nurse that I have the honor & pleasure of working with at PHI.
Annie has already had a rough life as a puppy mill mom who was kept in a cage most of her life . Thankfully Becky adopted her and now she lives her best life. Being one of Becky’s “children”... to say she is spoiled and loved beyond measure, is an understatement!
Unfortunately, Annie tore her ACL and had a complete cartilage tear in her knee. She also had a mass removed from her spleen and calcium deposits cut off of her paws today.
The surgery was a no brainer for Becky, who is spending her entire 2 week vacation from work at home caring for Annie. (Becky and Darryl were supposed to be in Hawaii)
I started this behind Becky’s back and she’s gonna be mad...but for her birthday she asked that everyone donate to The Burttschell Rescue Ranch and is always thinking of other people and animals. So I say it’s time we do the same for her and show her the love she’s constantly sharing with everyone else.
