This is a fundraiser for a total knee replacement for Martha Garris.  Since 2016, Martha has undergone a total of 3 knee replacements from the same doctor and is now requiring a forth one.  Due to that, we have identified a new doctor who can fix this, and have identified Dr. Richard Berger.  Dr. Berger is a world renown surgeon with innovative technology that can fix Martha's knee once and for all and will allow her to return to being a productive and contributing oncology nurse in only 2-3 weeks after surgery.  Dr. Berger uses a patented muscle sparing, female prosthetic knee which allows for quicker healing.  His offices are located at Midwest Orthopedics at Rush in Chicago.  

Sadly, the upfront cost for this surgery is $27,000 and is not covered under insurance.  She is scheduled for surgery March 31, 2020.
