Hello, I've been dealing with a serious knee injury for the past six months and I'm scheduled for surgery on May 30th. After that, I'll need six to eight months to recover. Unfortunately, I've been unable to work during this entire period and won't be able to for several more months. Since I had to use up my savings before applying for Centrelink, I'm now relying on their support, which is 1060 dollars a fortnight. While that covers my rent, it's not enough for food, bills, and taking care of my son. Any help would be truly appreciated right now.
