Our beautiful Tootsie needs spinal surgery.  This fundraiser is to raise a contribution towards the cost.

She is a lovely little rescue girl, who we adopted from Dogs4Rescue just over 4 years ago. I feel guilty for having to ask for help, but I'll do whatever Tootsie needs to give her the best quality of life.

Tootsie needs to have a disc repaired which is a major and expensive procedure. The estimated cost is £6,000, so we are hoping to raise a part of it - £3,500 - to ease the the pressure.

Unfortunately she isn't covered by her insurance as she needed a similar procedure a few years ago, so it is now a pre-existing condition. When we made the insurance claim at that time, we realised that her policy had a one-year limit (not lifetime, which our other dogs have). A lesson in pet insurance learned the hard way...

Tootsie is only 5, and is such a happy, active, amazing girl. She bounced back from her previous surgery like a superstar, so we're sure she will be a tough little fighter again this time. Any small contribution will be so gratefully received to help give our joyful girl her mobility back.
