Harrison's "FUN"draiser !!

Hi, my names Lindzey and I am fundraising to raise money in giving the amazing brave children fighting cancer on Ward 27 at the LRI some treats to make their journey better. My son Harrison was diagnoised with Cancer on the 18th of March 2025 after a 3 month battle of being in agonising pain in his back and leg. After fighting for further investigation to be done and seeking help from private hospitals we was informed it was cancer. Our hearts was broken. Once he was diagnosed ours and his life was turned upside down, from being a physically active keen footballer to being unable to walk long distances and having to use a wheelchair. He spent 3 months being treated for Germcell cancer for us to be informed the treatment had not worked and further investigation was needed. We was then informed after further biopsies that Harrison has a rare cancer that they do not how to treat or cure. He is currently on his 4th trialed chemotherapy in hoping to cure him. If their is no success with this treatment we are unsure on how Harrison's future will look. We have seen first handed how difficult this is for the children and we want to try and cheer these brave children up and thank the nurses on the ward for their dedication to get to know and build relationships with these children to ease their difficult time along with supporting ourselves to seek and find a cure for our boy.

We are also holding a fundraiser on the 30th August 2025 12pm-5pm venue to be confirmed.
