Chemotherapy medical bills

Aloha, I am fundraising for my nephew's chemotherapy expenses.

Thiago Aguiar - 22 years old, full of life, super kind, and gentle soul.

He is extremely dedicated to studying medicine. Since he was very young, he was focused on learning more and more. He was eager to gain knowledge, and he loves helping others to increase their knowledge as well. Going through school, he went above and beyond to help others academically.

Their parents don’t have much resources $$ and he wanted to be accepted at the best medical school which is a free University but also the most difficult University to get into. He knew the only way to fulfill his dream of going to Medical School (and making a difference in this world) was to study a lot so he would pass the test to go to this school. Yes, that was a lot of sacrifices being a teenager and spending hours and hours studying instead of going out partying, and he was focused on his life mission.

He passed the test, and he is in his 1st year of medical school!!!

This year, he was diagnosed with Embryonal carcinoma Testicular cancer. He had surgery to remove the organ, and unfortunately, he had to do chemotherapy.

He is currently going through chemotherapy. His health insurance covers the surgery itself and the dosages of the chemo, but not all the extra costs associated with the treatment and things to make him ‘comfortable’ from the side effects of the treatment and the extra many hospital visits. ☹

I would appreciate it if you can donate anything you are comfortable with, anything helps. Don’t think that a small amount would not help – it DOES.

And if you can’t contribute monetarily at all, you may contribute by sending him and his parents (my brother and my sister-in-law) prayers, positive thoughts, energy healing, etc.

Ele é extremamente dedicado a estudar medicina. Desde muito jovem, ele estava focado em aprender cada vez mais. Ele adora ajudar os outros a aumentar seu conhecimento também.

Seus pais não têm muitos recursos $$ e ele queria ser aceito na melhor escola de medicina, que é uma universidade gratuita, mas também a universidade mais difícil de entrar. Ele sabia que a única maneira de realizar seu sonho de ir para a Faculdade de Medicina (e fazer a diferença neste mundo) era estudar muito para que ele passasse no teste para ir para esta escola. Sim, foi muito sacrifício ser adolescente e passar horas e horas estudando em vez de sair para festas etc - ele estava focado na sua missão.

Passou no teste e está no 1º ano da faculdade de medicina!!!

Este ano, foi-lhe diagnosticado um câncer chamado embrionário carcinoma testicular. Ele fez uma cirurgia para retirar o órgão e, infelizmente, teve que fazer quimioterapia.

Atualmente, ele está passando por quimioterapia. O seu plano de saúde cobre a cirurgia em si e as dosagens da quimioterapia, mas não todos os custos adicionais associados ao tratamento e coisas para o tornar "confortável" dos efeitos colaterais da quimio e de visitas extras aos hospitais. ☹
