My name is Alexis, a close friend to the family of Matt. Our hearts are heavy as we share his sudden loss. He was the kind of man who always showed up for others — he enjoyed cooking meals big enough to always share, helping neighbors with groceries when times were tough, and fixing just about anything, no matter how impossible it seemed. But above all else, he was a father and a husband.

He is survived by his wife and his two daughters. His sudden passing has left them to deal with the aftermath. Unfortunately, he had no pre-planning in this worst-case scenario, and they have a short amount of time to come up with utilities, mortgage, all while trying to cover the costs of his memorial.
