Helping Hannah

Donation protected
Hello, my name is Melissa and I am starting up this gofundme for my best friend Anne. She had a perfect baby girl, Hannah, on June 2nd. The following night everything took a turn for the worst. The doctors found out that Hannah was born with a rare heart condition called Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF). This condition is caused by a combination of four heart defects that are present at birth.
Tetralogy of Fallot defects cause oxygen-poor blood to flow out of the heart and into the rest of the body. The four defects include, 1. a hole between the right and left ventricles, which is also called a ventricular septal defect (VSD)
2. a narrow pulmonary outflow tract, which connects the heart with the lungs.
3. a thickened right ventricle.
4. an aorta that has a shifted orientation and lays over the VSD.
Due to this, baby Hannah will need to undergo open heart surgery. Hannah’s parents, Anne and Jeremy, have been staying at the hospital with Hannah, while their older daughter, Emilee, has been staying with family. The point of this go fund me is to help cover some of the costs of the hospital stay, the surgery, the medications, and all of the care that Hannah will need during this time. Anne and Jeremy have been lucky enough to get a spot in the Ronald McDonald House, so any money leftover will be donated to them. We are extremely thankful for anyone who can donate or even just share this.
