Hi everyone! My name is Ashlee, and I am Keith and Dyan’s oldest daughter. If you know my family, then you know that my parents are two of the most selfless people you will ever meet. They will give everything they have to others before they will use it themselves. I’m coming to you today to do what they won’t do: ask for help.

My father was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML) in July 2020. Since then, it has been an ongoing battle of my father being able to work a normal schedule while simultaneously managing his health. Chemotherapy costs are outrageous even with insurance coverage, and every day of work he has to miss because of illness is a day of income lost.

This past week, my father injured his foot while at work. This has since turned into an infection that has spread enough that he needs to stay in the hospital to receive IV antibiotics. I understand this doesn’t seem threatening - but to a person with Type 2 Diabetes and a weakened immune system, this is something to take seriously. Unfortunately, this means my father is not able to work right now. He normally works 7 days a week to help bring in money to provide, but this injury obviously takes that ability away.

I am coming to you as their daughter to ask for your help with medical expenses and bills. If my sister and I could pay every penny we absolutely would - we know it’s what my parents would do for someone else.
