Most of you know Rhonda as a kind and witty person. She has touched most of our lives in different ways.

Recently she was diagnosed with lymphoma, which is cancer of the lymphatic system. The lymphatic system is the body's disease-fighting network.

Though medical insurance covers a good portion of chemotherapy costs and other treatments, there are a large number of expensive co-pays that aren't. Chemo, surgeons, specialists, cat & pet scans and prescriptions plus other unexpected expenses related to patients undergoing cancer treatment. These often overlooked and financially burdensome expenses include things like the cost of special diets, a new wardrobe, and transportation to and from treatments, just to name a few.

This financial strain will be further compounded by the unfortunate loss of wages due to excessive time off during treatment.

I am appealing to the hearts and kindness of those that know her directly, through her friends, and family.

I am confident we can all come together to help cover some of these expenses and to also show our support during this difficult time.

Getting Rhonda to accept help wasn't easy, so whatever you can do to help our friend in his time of need, is much appreciated. Every dollar makes a difference.
