My name is Kieran Watts, I am 19 years of age and have a rare form of Muscular Dystrophy. I have just been selected in the Australian Powerchair Hockey National team. 


I have been playing various competitive wheelchair sports since the age of 5. Recently, I was selected in the NSW  State team where we victorious winning the first ever National Championship. This was a great privilege and something I had only ever dreamt of.


I have now had the honour of being selected for the Australian National Team. In September I will be travelling to Lignano Sabbiadoro in Italy. Unfortunately there are great costs associated with this, and even more costs due to my disability.
