Hi, my name is Christopher and I have been in recovery of Stenosis of the throat since December 29th, 2015. On that date I went to the hospital not feeling well and BOOM, I went into seizures in which I lost oxygen for 45 mins and 30 mins within two days of being in the hospital. I had Pneumonia, a collapsed left lung and I swelled up to the point they had to cut my wedding ring off to save my left ring finger. When the air going to my lungs was so bad, they had to place a tracheotomy tube in my throat to live. I laid in bed at the hospital for 35 days. I also suffer from Charcot Marie Tooth, which is a Neurological Diease that weakens the limbs and in 1-25000 the vocal cords as well (I won that lottery) I did 2 months of physical rehabilitation but I am still weak. I went to a long term care facility but after 4 days had respiratory infection from the place providing horrible care. I'm back in the hospital for the past 3 weeks and about to go to another Long Term Care to hopefully recover and go home. I need help in purchasing things I need to try and get back my life...I need to remodel the bathroom for a wheel chair to go into it, I need a ramp on the outside to get into the home, I need help purchasing the power wheelchair as well (insurance doesn't cover all) and I need to get the power seat that goes up the stair case to the second floor. I am moving in with my cousin who has decided to take me in. Please help if you can, if not I understand and hope if you do donate to another person in need.
