Deana's medical fund

On Saturday January 17th, Deana Innocenti went to see a movie with her husband Rick.  On a day that was supossed to be like any normal day - everything changed.  Rick was at the concession getting some popcorn, when someone came running out of the theater telling Rick that his wife was having a stroke.  Rick ran into the theatre to find his wife shaking, surrounded by strangers.  The entire family was called, and of course being as loved as Deana is by her husband, kids, friends (well, let's face it - everyone), her entourage rushed to her side.  The family of course, hoping for the best.  And then the news came.  Deana has a brain tumor.  And it doesnt stop there, Deana has stage 4 lung cancer.  A very scary and very real, life altering diagnoses - for everyone.

I am a friend of the family.  I met Deana through her daughter-in-law Dawn.  I've had the pleasure of having great conversations with Deana, I even got to travel with her to Hawaii for her sons wedding.  She is an amazing, beautiful woman to say the least.  A loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.  She's always been there for her family and friends, and now she needs you to be there for her and her family...even though she would never ask herself.  What totally sucks, is that on top of being sick, being sick costs tons, and tons of money.  Maybe we can work together to raise some money - to take the focus away from the bills - and put ALL the focus on Deanas fight.  Because that's what Deana is -- a fighter.
