A gift of life!

Hello Friends,

We need prayer and some financial help.

On Tuesday, May 10th Mike had several massive heart attacks. We took him to the hospital in Belton who assessed him and sent him by ambulance to Overland Park Regional. Within 3 minutes of arriving they had him in an emergency heart surgery. They saved his life! They placed 2 stents into the right side of his heart and told us that his left side was worse and needed another Emergency surgery on Friday. ( They want to wait at least a month before doing a second surgery but Mike’s heart could not wait)

Tuesday evening and early Wednesday morning Mike had several more heart attacks in the ICU. They kept him alive, and early Wednesday morning he had another emergency heart surgery to repair again the right side of his heart. They placed 4 more stents.

Friday he had another emergency surgery to the left side of his heart. They placed 3 stents in the left side.

In 4 days Mike had 3 emergency surgeries and 9 stents placed in his heart.

Mike spent 5 days in ICU and 2 days in a step down.

During this process his right arm/shoulder was injured. It looks like his right rotator cuff was torn and he has nerve damage in his arm.

They did many tests including ultrasounds, MRI, and neurologist testings. Although he has some follow up, we are grateful to everyone who helped him!

He is alive! And home!! All glory to Jesus!

Now he MUST take cardiac rehab for a while.

We have a Christian health share for insurance. Our deductible is $10,000.00
