See the person and not the disability

I am trying to raise the money to fund my vision.

As a teacher, I am always pouring into others. I would like to be able to continue to give back on a grander scale.

As a single parent of a child with special needs, I work diligently to give have him the love and support that he needs to be a contributing member of society.

I dream of building an industrial kitchen to grow my candy business and employ individuals with special needs or disabilities who struggle to find other jobs.

Handicapped does not necessarily mean someone is unable to work. In fact, most handicapped people I know would love to have something they could do to feel like part of the contributing society. There would be many different opportunities with my candy business to help people who are handi-capable! Some people cannot stand for long periods or stand at all. There are jobs such as wrapping the candy and preparing the shipments that these persons could do. Some people struggle with multiple tasks yet are excellent and thrive at doing repetitious activities. There are jobs in the candy business for them as well whether it is moving candy to the cooling racks or even mixing the ingredients. There are people who can oversee the inventory, assist with maintaining the kitchen and appliances to their best working order. SO many opportunities abound if I could just create the atmosphere and the place for this to occur. Ultimately providing opportunities for people to earn money as well as to feel like part of the work force can build confidence and encourage independence that many handicapped people have lost. I dream of helping them feel worthy, valued, loved, and appreciated.

I dream of building a comfortable environment for my math tutoring business.

So many students struggle with math. It isn’t always the concept that causes the issue as much as it is the need for one-on-one attention and extra time to process the problem. My tutoring business will be a safe place for these students to learn and build their core math skills so they can excel in the classroom and not feel held back as they advance through school. This place will make math fun, enjoyable and promote learning skills that will allow students to achieve bigger and better things that he/she dreams of but could not because of the obstacle math presented.

I dream of being a light into the world. Help me find my dreams with the Kees Group.

I have found a 6-acre tract of land that I can see all my dreams being able to come to fruition. It can accommodate a home, a business, a tutoring clinic, and other things to benefit others. Please consider donating.

Thank you to anyone and everyone who sees my vision and is willing to help.
