Medical and Living Expenses for Taj Ashaheed

This gofundme for Tajuddin Ashaheed is approved by Taj (I've spoken to him on the phone several times) and his daughter, Umarah. Umarah will be able to monitor every donation and expense from the account, which is set up specifically so that, when Taj is home, he can take it over. Taj is very, very close to my husband Hassan and me, and we want to make sure that he is taken care of now and in the future.
As most of you know, Taj was shot four times in the early morning hours of May 30, 2020. He's a warrior, though. He has undergone two surgeries and is scheduled for another one this week. His jaw is still wired shut (bullet through the cheek and out of the neck) and he is having physical therapy to walk (a bullet is still lodged in his leg).
He has insurance through his employer but there will still be sizable bills and co-pays. Hospitalization, doctor's bills, surgeon's bills, anesthesiology bills, medication bills, physical therapy, etc. He also has a baby boy due in August and would definitely want to be able to help with his son however he can. His baby's mother, Danette, also approves this gofundme. In addition, we have no idea when Taj will be able to return to work. Your donations will help with living expenses till he can return to work.
Taj knows you all are praying and wishing him a speedy recovery. We told him that and we also told him how protesters were raising their fists near the capital and saying, "For Taj!". Anything you can do to help would be appreciated.
