Roscoe’s medical Bills.

Hi,

My name is Paige and 3 years ago my dream of getting a dog came true, with Roscoe completing our family.

Within the first year of having Roscoe he developed a lump on the side of his face, at first the vets thought this was a grass seed but after surgery to remove it we were told it was a cancerous lymph node.

This caused issues with the insurance we had for him and the company cancelled his policy. After going to multiple companies to re insure Roscoe (even ones that covered pre existing conditions) no one would insure him.

This week Roscoe was out walking with my mum when he was hit by a car at high speed after slipping his lead. We rushed him to our vets, who were amazing!

By some miracle he had no broken bones but some critical internal injuries. Due to the seriousness of these injuries he spend 36 hours at our vets and another specialist unit locally. He’s had multiple scans, anaesthetics and X-rays. He has to take antibiotics to prevent infections and pain relief. And he has to have ongoing care for his wounds. Although he’s now home and no longer critical there is still a long road to fully recover with more vets visits and checkups to go.

All of this has come at a huge financial cost, right before Christmas in a time when everyone is being hit by life’s economic difficulties. My mum has spent her life helping others and Roscoe means everything to her and us all as a family, so although I know times are hard for everyone, I’m asking, hoping if anyone could help by donating towards Roscoes medical bills, we would be so grateful for anything to ease the worry of the financial stress during

what has been one of our worst nightmares as a family.
