Hello Everyone!

Every year, Undignified Tour has the privilege of going up to Mt. Gilead (Sebastopol, CA) to lead Horizon Summer Retreat in worship.  This year we went up between the dates of July 30th, 2018 - August 2nd, 2018. Unfortunately on our commute back down from NorCal to SoCal on the 2nd during a routine pit stop for gas and restrooms, multiple backpacks and wallets were stolen from our car.  It all happened within the time frame of a few minutes (3-5 minutes).  Peter and I notified police authorities and tried to converse with locals around to see if anyone had noticed anything  but it was to no avail.  These backpacks contained not just our laptops which was the biggest financial loss, but many other necessary files/software/hardware that we use regularly in our ministry and music including but not limited to iPads, hard drives, headphones, cables, musical interfaces, and software.

Thankfully, I received a phone call through my insurance the following day that someone had contacted them regarding the discovery of stolen backpacks.  Upon receiving a phone call from a polite young woman whose name I won't disclose for privacy reasons I was able to determine that some of our stolen property had been recovered via the thieves ditching the backpacks in bushes near her home (including the fake license plates they used for the getaway car).  Although nearly all of our electronics were stolen we were able to recover a portion of our lost belongings such as our IDs, bibles, journals, various ministry documents, and a few musical equipments as well! Praise God for not having to make the dreaded trip to the DMV!

However, despite the silver lining, we still suffered a very heavy loss in things that we need and use on a regular basis.  I will list and itemize each of the things we know for certain are no longer in our possession.

2018 Macbook Pro 15" Custom ($4000)
2017 Macbook Pro 15" ($3000)
2014 Macbook Pro 15" (Originally $3000, closer to $1800 with depreciation)
Cash ($1500) [***amount high due to ministry funds that were at the time within the backpacks]
iPad Pro 10.5" ($700)
iPhone 6S  ($500)
iPad Pro 9.7" ($500)
iPad Mini ($300)
Apple AirPods ($159)
Apple Pencil ($99)
Northface Borealis Backpack ($89)
Anker Portable Charger ($35)

Although this is not an exhaustive list, it is about as close to what we can recall (there are other multiple miscellaneous items such as cables, etc. that I've excluded).

I never thought I would ever be in a position such as this, but a loss such as this is hard to recover from without help so anything is always appreciated.  Although we don't expect that we will be able to fully recuperate all losses we are grateful for any help given. Please keep us in your prayers as well as we continue our ministry as well.  We refuse to let Satan tempt us to despair and strive to remain joyful in Him!

Thank you for reading this extremely long letter and we thank you in advance for your support whether financial, physical, emotional and spiritual.

P.S. I attached a few photos of the recovered belongings below!
