Prayers for Aria

As some of you may know Aria was born with a heart condition and has been going through surgeries her entire life. All together she has had 7 open heart surgeries and 6 other surgeries. She is approaching her 8th open heart surgery. Equaling 13 surgeries all together in her little life (almost7).

Aria was admitted into the hospital 09/11/2021 with Rhino Virus and Pneumonia. It was getting hard for her to breathe because she was having issues coughing to help the phlegm get out. So they had turned up the oxygen and pressure to see if it helped but still Aria was having issues breathing, they did an X-ray and her heart was getting bigger (because of the heart failure) which was putting pressure on her left lung so they decided she needed to be intubated( breathing tube)

it was a hard decision but she was scheduled to go to surgery 3 days later so whatever we needed to do to make her have better chances with surgery. Surgery ended up being postponed because they had an emergency case with another child (prayers for that family) we were told that Aria would have surgery Tuesday 09/28/2021. Everything was going good Aria’s lungs were opening up with the breathing tube helping her and her numbers were looking great. Then all of a sudden 09/27/2021 @3:30pm Aria spiked a temp of 103 they did blood test on all her IV lines, phlegm from the breathing tube, urine, even did COVID test again. Everything has came back negative but Aria’s white cell count went from 15 to 27 then to 21 so her body is fighting something but everything is coming back negative still but we need to wait 48 hours to make sure, So surgery was postponed again. They are saying this coming Monday(10/04 Aria’s bday) or Tuesday (10/05/2021). Aria will have to stay intubated for another 7 days until surgery. This is going to be a very difficult surgery for her and a long recovery.

I was working but I have had to take the time off to be with Aria during this time. All while I am 31 weeks pregnant with baby girl number 2. 9 weeks left until she comes and Aria will still be in recovery and possibly in the hospital. This is very hard for me because I am always with Aria and I will have to be away at some point to give birth. Things are getting behind and I’m just asking for a little help while I make sure I am with Aria during this difficult process. As everyone knows the bills don’t wait. I still have rent due , car, insurance, phone, and the added expenses of not being able to go home during this process. Thank you for taking the time to read our story and I will update soon.
