Hi ! I'm Andrea, a 26 year old mixed race genderqueer poet / community organizer / musician launching this fundraiser "help me get rid of these" to crowdsource funds to help me pay for TOP SURGERY YAY.

this is something i've been thinking about for a long time but hasn't happened yet due to school / $ / access to healthcare.

i got offered a march 29, 2016 date last week which is coming up in a month from today ! my surgery is with dr. garramone in florida. 6000$ is the surgery cost, I put down 500$ deposit and will also have to throw down 1300$ for hospital / anesthesia costs - so I'm asking for the actual cost of the surgery itself - 6000$. i'm lucky that my mom lives in florida and is being supportive so I'm going to stay with her the week of :). 

i know that asking for $ is a huge ask, especially in the queer community but anything you can donate will help ! For everyone who donates I'll send out a copy of my most recent poety zine.
