Griffin Family

Sgt 1st Class Jeremy Griffin was a great Soldier and even greater husband and father who is survived by his wonderful wife, Amy, his son Charles “Chip,” and his daughter Makayla. Jeremy and Amy had just celebrated 19 years of marriage prior to his deployment to Afghanistan.


Sgt 1st Class Jeremy Wayne Griffin of Greenbrier, TN, was killed in action on September 16, 2019 in Afghanistan while serving his country as a U.S. Special Forces “Green Beret.” Jeremy Griffin, a Special Forces Intelligence Sergeant, was assigned to A Co., 3rd Battalion, 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne). Sgt 1st Class Jeremy Griffin will be laid to rest at Fort Campbell, TN.
