On Sunday, 25th May 2025, Rose’s world changed forever. Her beloved husband of over 60 years, Ted, passed away at the age of 95 following a sudden and serious illness. Just two weeks earlier, both Rose and Ted were hospitalized — and heartbreakingly, Ted did not recover.
Rose and Ted shared a beautiful life filled with love, memories, and unwavering commitment. Together, they raised their cherished twins, Garry and Kathy. Kathy lives with profound disabilities and requires full-time care, adding further challenges to the family’s situation.
Ted’s passing has not only left a deep emotional void, but also a significant financial burden. Rose is now facing:
- Funeral expenses to give Ted the respectful farewell he deserves.
- Ongoing living costs as she begins to navigate life alone on a limited income.
- Urgent home repairs, including roof restoration and the installation of a lift to help Rose remain safe and independent in her home.
