Medical bills for Pamela Valerio

Hello family and friends. 2020 has had it's share of hardships for everyone, and it seems as though we must now endure the passing of our dearest Pamela Sue Valerio.

By the grace and mercy of God, she was able to live out true Faith, and fortitude in her 10+ year fight with cancer; she truly has beaten the odds. Any journey of such length will have it's share of victories, and defeats, but nonetheless she was a warrior; our champion. It is with a heavy heart we must now make provisions in our days without her. As anyone would expect, the combat against cancer is no easy task for those called to battle, and the caretakers of the brave.

Throughout chemo, radiation, and numerous treatments, medical bills have accumulated, and it has surpassed the threshold in which we can handle during such a historic time. Pamela was in need of 24hr care as she progressed. With the help of family, Josh, her husband, did all he could to supply her aid, and comfort at home. Under pre-pandemic circumstances, this would be less of a financial burden to continue staying home. However, Josh already suffered a loss in weekly hours, along with a 30% pay cut as a result of the economic crash earlier this year, and restrictions/shutdowns.

After careful consideration, we've come to realize the set amount in need is largely for the remaining medical bills and credit card bills used to pay for treatments, but also to assist Josh and the family with living expenses during the times they had to remain home and care for Pamela as she moved on to be with the Lord.

We know that Pamela's passing has impacted so many, and have full and compete trust you all want to be here with us now, and when the time comes for funeral services. It saddens us to ask that we all remain physically distant as we all must protect our family and yours during this pandemic. We are in the process of making arrangements, and will update here and will share across Facebook when the appropriate time arrives. Please be prepared to be asked to participate in any safety measures we deem necessary.

We thank you so much for your emotional, spiritual, and financial support. Thank you for you kindness, and mercy upon our family during this difficult time. We have been blessed with the time we've had, and now must garner the courage for what is to come.

Yours in Christ,
Josh, Steven, Amber & Nick, Carl & Alicia.
