So as a few of you know, some may not. Julio is in custody at KROME detention center and is in ICE custody in Miami.
Julio is one of the most genuine, whole hearted people we know. He would give you the shirt off his back, and now he needs our help more than he’s ever needed help in his life.
While on vacation with Monique, they arrived back in the United States, and he was taken into custody for never becoming a US citizen. As many of you may not know Julio and his family arrived here in the US when he was 7 months old from Cuba. Him being so young upon arriving here, going to school here, and having his entire life here, he never realized it was such a serious matter to become a US citizen. So when he came back to the US from vacation Immigration gave him a hearing he needed to show up to two months later. Upon him showing up to the hearing he was taken into custody and has been with them for a little over a month.
Julio has a hearing on July 16, 2019 at 8 am. In which his attorneys are going to file for a cancelation of deportation. The work that has been done and has to be done to get home is a lot. And we really need help. Julio’s attorney bills are already over $16,000. We need to raise half of that before July 18th or his attorney will drop Julio as a client, and we just can’t afford to start over. Any donations are going directly to Julio and his family to help with these acquiring bills and to pay his attorney. Absolutely anything helps, whether it’s $1.00 or $1,000 We’re asking for help to bring Julio home. I know he’s got a lot of friends, and has helped everybody in one way or another. Please find it in your hearts to help him in this horrible situation. We love you all ❤️
