Bridge of Angels Homeless Ministry

Angels Healing and Recovery Church has been operating a "feeding the homeless" ministry to the poor of Austin for over 16 years now. This ministry is called "Bridge of Angels." This ministry takes place weekly on Saturday mornings at I-35 & 7th Street (under the overpass). Each Saturday morning over 350 people are fed a hot meal prepared fresh that day. Meals are robust and everyone is allowed "seconds" if there is remaining food. The folks are fed, enjoy fellowship and worship time as well as hear the Gospel of Jesus preached.
The cost of the food each week is approx $500 and with 52 weeks each year -- the overall cost to provide this to the homeless of Austin is $26,000 per year. Last year we were able to raise over $4000 with this fundraiser! Our Goal this year is $5000.
We are asking you to partner with us during this fundraiser (the month of December) in the amount of $25, $50 or $100 or
whatever you feel led to give for 2019 meal purchases. 100% of the funds given will be used specifically for food purchase for this homeless ministry.
