I need help.  That's really hard for me to say, but after being sick for almost 10 years, I have to finally ask.  My battle with this "mystery illness" started with a tonsillectomy, and has progressed to the point of me being bed-ridden and in fear for my life. I have seen too many doctors to count, and have been diagnosed/treated for many different things, such as Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Lupus, and Chronic Recurrent Multifocal Osteomyelitis.  After much research, I have discovered that there are many others out there with my exact same story.  I have Chronic Lyme Disease with multiple co-infections, which is many times undetectable by current testing.  My illness has gone misdiagnosed for so long, that I now live with daily excruciating pain, breathing trouble, heart problems, myoclonic seizures, memory and other cognitive dysfunction, and many other issues.  Unfortunately, health insurance will not cover the treatment I need to potentially make a full recovery from this.  I was forced to quit work and school back in 2013 after my symptoms became completely unmanageable.  I have exhausted my life savings, and drained the accounts of my loved ones in pursuit of a cure and relief.  I have found a facility that specializes in Chronic Lyme Disease, and has cured many others just like me, but I need help to get there.  Unfortunately, $50,000 doesn't even come close to what I have already spent, but it will help to cover what my treatment will cost for the next year.  I would appreciate any help you can give me.  I would like to get back to being the vibrant, productive member of society I used to be.  I promise that when I'm better, I will pay it forward.
