Rashah and Klondike’s leg up

Hi, my name is Rashah and my goofy malamute Klondike is an idiot.

If you know him, you’re not surprised by this. But for some reasons - I eternally am caught off-guard by how far he’s willing to go to catch a deer. Thursday evening he jumped out of my moving car and managed to both wound his pride by not catching the thing and shatter one of his hind legs.

It’s a complicated enough break, and he’s a complicated enough dog that he needs to be evacuated to Seattle for surgery which will apparently involve plates, screws and some team of vet techs who have to rodeo with him for a few days. I have pet insurance, which will hopefully cover most of this. But, it won’t cover the ferry ticket, travel through Canada (they said it’s an emergency and they’ll let me through the border y’all!) and cost of being in Seattle for however long it takes to fix him, plus the drive back etc.

I could use some help. But I also have no intention of keeping anything I don’t need. So, if you can spare a few bones to send our way we’d both be eternally grateful. And if you’ll comment with your paypal/Venmo handle - I’ll send back what we don’t use — or happily put it into care credit available at the vet for the next person who needs it.
