A message from Nia Schexnydre’s siblings with love:

Dearest friends and family members,

With a heavy heart, we let you know that Kliff Schexnydre, a dear friend, son, husband, father, and brother, passed away on December 30, 2020, in a tragic auto accident. He was driving home from work to be with his family in hopes of preparing for a New Years' Eve celebration. Due to the children learning virtually because of Covid 19, he was able to work late evenings while Nia was home with the children, and she worked the day shift as Kliff homeschooled the children.

All who knew Kliff knew that he was a God-fearing man and a dedicated, loyal, loving father and husband. He worked tirelessly daily driving trucks all over the country to make a living for his family. He was passionate about his work, but he longed to be closer to family. As soon as the opportunity presented itself, he transferred trucking companies and drove and lived locally.
He leaves his lovely wife, our sister, Nia Butler Schexnydre, who worked closely with Kliff's family in the medical field. Nia, a California native, has deep roots in Louisiana, where she met Kliff and his family. They were high school sweethearts. Nia moved to Louisiana with her father and siblings after her mother passed away while she was in junior high school. Nia and Kliff moved to the Dallas, Texas area after marrying to start a family. They have two children, Philip, 12, and Pharah, who will be nine this month. He also has an identical twin brother Keith who has lost his twin soul, and a sister, Chynell.
A few days before Christmas, Kliff drove to Louisiana to visit his mother, Shelia, and stepfather Danny. Kliff just wanted to see his mom is what he told Shelia when he went back for a quick trip, and he wanted to shop for a special Christmas gift for Nia. He also visited his niece, Keturah, who he trusted to settle on Nia's perfect Christmas gift.
All have broken hearts with Kliff's passing. He was the type of man everyone he came across loved to be around. He always made anyone he met feel comfortable and in place.
Some of you have reached out and asked how you can help during this time. Know that your kindness is much appreciated as we navigate this heartbreaking moment. We kindly ask if you can donate funds towards the funeral service, as we hope to carry out all of Kliff's final wishes. Any additional funds will go toward Nia, a now single mother, and the children.

Donations can be sent to his wife Nia Schexnydre directly via cash app: $NiaSchexnydre , Zelle [email redacted] or through this Go Fund Me Page.

Thank you all for your outpouring of love and prayers. Please continue to lift Nia and the children, Philip and Pharah.
With love from Nia's siblings Aaron, Griourard, Jabari, Damani, Asha, Ayana, and Kamau Butler
