Today, I’m proud to announce that I will be riding 100 miles in the 30th and final New York Century Ride on September 8th. Training is already underway for this near 8 hour ride. Am I out of my mind? Abso-fucking-lutely. Which brings us to the reason behind it all...

This year I am beyond honored to be personally partnering with The Child Mind Institute, the official sponsor of my ride as I continue to fundraise for mental health research and education.

Over 17M (or 1 in 5) children have experienced a mental health illness — more than those with cancer, diabetes and AIDS... combined. Yet despite the magnitude of this problem, unwarranted stigma, lack of awareness and scarce resources prevent millions from receiving the care they need. As a response, The Child Mind Institute, a national nonprofit, is transforming the lives of children and families struggling with mental health through their research, education and destigmatization efforts .
