Klea's Care - Fight to save Klea from a Low Grade Glioma
Donation protected
At the end of March 2024, after bringing her to Riley Children's Hospital to investigate some prolonged symptoms related to persistent ear-infections, it was discovered that sweet, 15-month-old Klea Waddles has a brain tumor.
Though Katie and Sadetina are thankful for the many physicians and specialists at Riley who have worked quickly and thoroughly to provide a diagnosis, the family lives in a season of "watch and wait." Klea will receive scans every 1-3 months to learn more about the tumor, with the next notable scan happening June 5, 2024.
The treatment of brain cancer, along with any number of complications that relate to a sweet baby's brain being invaded by a tumor, is going to be expensive. And although the family has quality health insurance, the nature of our country's medical system will still heave a financial burden on the Waddles.
It is a nearly paralyzing feeling to learn that people you love are in danger. And if you are privileged enough to be loved by Sadetina & Katie, you know their generosity and intentionality is unmatched. Praying and also giving what you can to help lessen the financial burden of extreme medical care is a way you can provide help in what feels like a helpless time.
This is what we can do right now to show our support and presence for Klea's Care.
