Hey guys we are the Butcher family. Our son is Klayton. Klayton suffers from reoccuring Ependymoma Cancerous brain tumors. He has now battled cancer 3 times and we now face it a 4th time. He is 9 years old and has the heart of a warrior. He never lets this disease get him down. Klay will have surgery Monday July 7th to remove a 1.2CM Cancerous brain tumor from the 3rd ventricle. Directly in the middle of his brain. We will then undergo 6 weeks of radiation to kill off any remaining cancer cells. We have a long road ahead of us with hospital stays. We live around 1 hour and 30 minutes from the Vanderbilt Children's Hospital. We will have multiple trips to and from the hospital during this time. We will have multiple hospital stays that consist of us staying overnight there. We stay in Nashville at the Ronald McDonald House during his 6 weeks of radiation where he receives treatment 5 days a week. We need help. Our expenses while we are there and gas money to get to and from the hospital. Our monthly bills sadly do not stop during these times. Our full attention will be on Klayton. We know the Lord will show a way and he will be with us every step. Our main concern is Klayton. If Klay is okay, we will be okay regardless of our finacial situation, but if you feel the Lord lead you to make a donation please know we appreciate it more than you will ever understand.
