Klaver's Krew

In August, Nicole was diagnosed with soft-tissue sarcoma and has begun chemotherapy treatments in Iowa City. After all of her years of dedication to the Gilbert community, now it is our turn to support her.

After stops in Dallas Center-Grimes, Ankeny, and Pleasant Valley, Nicole found her forever home teaching kindergarten at Gilbert Elementary in August 2010. In her years of teaching, she has touched hundreds of lives by providing an exceptional early childhood experience. In addition to her teaching, Nicole has served in many leadership roles in the district. Nicole is committed to the Gilbert mission of every student, every day which she lives every day in her classroom.

Nicole is also a wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Nicole is an avid Iowa State Cyclone fan and a lover of all things “junk”!

As there are a lot of unknowns right now, some of those include the cost of treatment, travel, and other out of pocket expenses. This GoFundMe Campaign is to support Jason, Nicole, Claire, and Natalie through this time.
