Klaus was diagnosed with a high-grade lymphoma on April 24th. 

Money will be used for medical expenses & end of life care. All costs are recurring...

- Prescriptions of Prednisone, Cytoxan, and Denamarin 
- Bloodwork/liver monitoring  
- Vet office visits
- And ultimately euthanasia and cremation 

We plan to start treatment before May 1st.  With this treatment plan, we're looking at a timeline of 6 months.

We are shocked by this diagnosis because Klaus is still his happy, goofy self with a few lumps and a slight cough. When we took him to the vet, we thought we were dealing with an infection and were taken completely by surprise. We want his last days to go as smoothly as possible. Your donation won't cure the heartbreak, but it will help ensure he goes with basic care and the celebration of life he deserves.

Klaus has been the biggest part of our lives for the last almost 9 years (in fact, his 9th birthday is on May 29th). He means the absolute world to us and the thought of losing him, before his time, is unbearable. If you've met Klaus, then you know that he is one of the sweetest and most gentle pups there is. His favorite activities include romping around the yard with his doggie pals, chomping on the freshest of tennis balls, "Arf-rroooooooo" -ing in harmony with passing fire trucks, eating all the tasty snacks, and most of all getting extra cozy to snuggle (typically taking a generous portion of the bed). He has never ceased to amaze us with his ability to learn new tricks, make us laugh at his goofy antics, and comfort us in times of need. He really is 1/3 of our little family.  He has enriched ours lives in more ways than we ever could have imagined, and in turn, we wish to be able to provide him with the best care possible.
