Klaudia's dream...Boston Unv. Tanglewood Institute

Hello everyone,

I’m reaching out to ask for your support for my daughter, Klaudia Kowalewski. She is a talented young violinist living in Basking Ridge, New Jersey, currently a sophomore at Ridge High School. After a rigorous audition process, Klaudia was invited to be a member of the prestigious Young Artists Orchestra at the Boston University Tanglewood Institute for the summer of 2024.

Klaudia’s dream of attending the institute started last summer when she attended a concert at the summer music festival at Tanglewood. Inspired by the atmosphere and performances, she decided to apply for the program the following year. Being a part of the institute would allow her to be surrounded by and learn from some of the best classical musicians in the world. Artists scheduled to perform at the Tanglewood Institute this summer include cellist Yo Yo Ma, conductor Gustavo Dudamel, and violinist Hilary Hahn, among others.

Funds collected through GoFundMe will cover the cost of Klaudia’s tuition expenses. The goal is to raise $6,500 to help Klaudia pursue this wonderful opportunity.

As a fifteen-year-old violinist, Klaudia is very serious about pursuing her violin education. Her most recent accomplishments include being accepted to the 2024-2025 New Jersey All State Orchestra, winning a Gold Medal at the US-Canadian International Music Competition, and being accepted into the 2024 Central Jersey Regional Orchestra. Last summer, Klaudia was concertmaster of the orchestra at the Philadelphia International Music Festival.
