Klatskin Tumors Stage 4 Cancer Ilie Petrica

My name is Adriana, and I started this fundraising for my cousin, who recently got diagnosed with stage 4 Klatskin tumor cancer at the age of 43.

Three months ago, he went to the ER due to fatigue and was diagnosed with cancer. He has been battling the fear of not surviving and being able to raise his two kids.

After months of tests and many doctors' opinions, he got his case to one of the best clinics in Turkey, Anadolu Medical Center, where he is currently fighting for his life.

They are performing the first surgery on 12/1 to block one of his liver arteries to pump more fluid to one side of his liver and to block the bile from damaging his entire liver.

The second surgery is to remove the gallbladder and half of his liver to remove the tumor. His tumor is on the Biliary atresia.

Due to the health benefits in Europe, he will need to pay for the surgery, medical bills, and hotel out of pocket. The total cost will exceed $50K over the next eight weeks.

Once he is healthy and back home, he will also be unable to return to work full-time. I hope to raise money to eliminate the financial burden and stress so he can focus on his health.
