Margaret E Dore 7/16/1971 - 1/19/2015
On January 19, 2015, we lost a very special woman. Maggie was the most loyal and loving friend anyone could have. So many of us are honored to have known her and loved by her. Maggie died very suddenly at home from diabetes. She is survived by her Mother, Rochelle Dore, daughter, Abigail McLaughlin, Sister Sarah Petersen (nee Lucas) Zach, nephew Lucas, niece Charlotte, love of her life Jason Goldberg and too many to count, devastated lifelong friends.
To know Maggie was to know what it's like to be loved. She always made you feel special and that she was there for you. Maggie had the biggest heart in the world, a bright beautiful smile, an adorable devilish gleam and charisma. She picked you up when you needed it most.
Shortly after Maggie had Abigail, Maggie’s fiancée’ Bart McLaughlin passed away suddenly leaving Maggie with a hole so deep in her heart I don't think it could ever be completely filled again until she met Jason Goldberg. Due to the extreme pain this loss caused Maggie; Abigail was raised solely by her Grandmother Rochelle (Shelly) since she was only 3 months old. Shelly was not in the best of health at the time but when Maggie just couldn't cope, Shelly wheeled in and took over. Shelly has raised Abigail now for the past 8 years with a little help. Abagail and Shelly could really use our help. Shelly is in her 60's, on disability and wheelchair bound most of the time and now completely on her own with Abigail.
We need help in raising funds to provide a memorial service for Maggie and start a college fund for Abigail. Even the smallest of donations will help.
If you could please, find it in your heart to donate, please know that Maggie's family & friends will be forever grateful for your help & support. All we hope to do is provide our dear friend with a proper memorial service and help Shelly to provide for Abigail's future.
Tomorrow is not guaranteed, that's why today is the PRESENT!
God Bless You!
