Hello, My name is Kevin Lee Kyne. I am 30 years old. When I was 23 years old, on August 15, 2010, my mother Diane Kyne was murdered in our home in Seminole, Florida. She was murdered by my stepfather William Kyne. Ultimately I was placed under the arrest for her murder and William Kyne was left as a free man. The detectives botched the investigation horribly and in 2012 I was wrongfully convicted of second degree murder and sentenced to life in prison without parole. I was transferred to the Department of Corrections. I appealed the conviction through the 2nd District Court of Appeals, who in turn reversed and remanded my case for a new trial in July of 2014. On February 2, 2015 I began my new trial. On February 10, 2015 I was found Not Guilty by the jury. I was released from custody on February 11, 2015.
Upon my release i realized i have nothing left to my name. All my personal property, even down to my clothes, have all been destroyed by my stepfather. I have to totally restart my life from scratch. I need to find a place to live, I need to get a job, I need to get clothes, I need a cellphone in order to have a number for prospect employers to contact me, I need transportation (public transportation would be great if i had money), and I need basic necessities for everyday life!
I never would have thought my mother (MY BEST FRIEND) would have left my life at such a young age let alone be murdered by the hands of my stepfather. On top of all that, I would have NEVER thought I would be framed for her murder and have my life turned completely upside down!
I have been out of society for nearly 5 years now and the world is completely different. I am reentering society with nothing to my name and I am begging anyone for help!! Life was tough before August 2010 (I had brain surgery in July 2010) let alone losing 5 years of my life, and having everything I had once owned get destroyed.
Please, if it is in your heart, help a man that has had his world destroyed get back on his feet and make his Mother, that is in heaven, PROUD!!!
