Help with funeral expenses

I want to tell you about Grace Thacker. She was an amazingly strong and beautiful woman who raised 4 children into incredible, caring individuals. She was kind to everyone but never was afraid to tell you like it is. And when her mother in law passed of COVID 19 in January of 2022, she provided love and support to everyone— until she got sick and was hospitalized herself. Her family rallied around her. They spent every day talking to the hospital, reaching out for prayers, and hoping that she would come home. I got to be there in Virginia and witness this first hand. Then I got a call last night. At 55, she lost her fight against COVID on a ventilator with her eldest daughter and my spirit sister holding her hand on 2/1/22.

This family has just provided a beautiful tribute to their grandmother and now are faced with the challenges of doing this again for their mother. These two women were the strength and kindness that I strive for —who warm every room they walked into. This winter is so much colder without them. I wanted to help this family celebrate Grace’s life without as much worry of how to do that. Thank you for considering to help a family in need.
