Memorial Expense Fund for Tina
Donation protected
I have created this fund in an effort to ease the untimely financial burden my dad will incur from funeral and hospital expenses, after the passing of my mother, Tina Sherwood. He would never ask for help himself, not ever want to put anyone else out.
Unfortunately, my mother had a very minimal life insurance policy that wasn't enough to cover funeral expenses and her hospital bills will be staggering from 12 days in ICU and surgery. Family is graciously helping how they're able, but the unexpected costs are going to be so high.
One of these costs is a burial plot for my dad to have next to my mom's. It's both of their wish that when the time came they would be buried side by side. The cost of hers is great alone and to have a shared headstone and dedicated place next to hers his must be purchased too. I want their wishes to be honored. I don't think they've spent an entire day a part in their 39 years of marriage and I can't imagine their gravesite not being together.
Some of the costs are unknown at this time but I thought with maybe getting the word out, that small donations among many friends toward the expenses could help ease the burden when the bills flood in during an already difficult time. I imagine the bills could actually very easily be double or triple the goal amount, and the goal amount is already needed for the excess funeral costs. Any amount will help ease my dad through this burden. He would never ask, but I know help with this would bless his heart so much. Thanks for taking the time to read this. Please continue to keep us in your prayers as we remember her sweet memory and wade through this difficult time.
