Support Marrisa as she fights breast cancer!

As you all probably know, after a long and nerve-wracking testing process Marrisa was recently diagnosed with DCIS in one of her breasts. Although this cancer is non-invasive, she will still have to have a lumpectomy (7/9/19) and an upcoming double mastectomy (8/16/19) to prevent from reoccurrence. All of this treatment, along with another surgery down the line will be spread out over the next year, and will take a big mental and physical toll.
Marrisa has strived so hard over the last few years to make her health and fitness a priority, and we (a small group of her surfer girlfriends) wanted to make it easier for her to continue living her best life through this emotional and stressful time. To help support Marrisa we have started a fundraiser to raise money to go towards delivery of organic fruits and vegetables when she can cook. That way, she doesn't even have to step outside on those days when she is feeling exhausted and overwhelmed, and she won't be tempted to fall back on quick and easy junk food. In addition to that, Marrisa will need to have meal service delivery after her mastectomy when she can’t cook since she will be down for the count for a couple months at a time. She will also need to hire medical support, and help with her animals during this time and financially and emotionally is already feeling the burden that comes along with not being able to take care of everything like she normally does as well as the additional costs of alternative complementary treatments.
