K.k.'s Fight Against Cancer

K.k. was diagnosed with bladder cancer in August of 2022 after a scan showed a tumor. The cancerous tumor was recently removed from her bladder, and she will undergo another surgery on her bladder within the next month. After that surgery, K.k. will travel to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, for weekly chemo treatments. She will be screened regularly for cancer in other parts of her body during this time. K.k. will continue to go to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester for the foreseeable future. Additionally, K.k. has tumors throughout her liver and recently had part of her liver removed. She is still recovering from this major surgery and is unable to work or attend school in La Crosse as she previously had. Her liver that remains still has tumors and will need to be monitored by the Mayo Clinic in Rochester from now on. We appreciate any donations you make; all proceeds will go towards K.k.'s treatment, gas to get to and from Rochester, and help pay her bills as she can't work.
