My name is Meg.  Due to the generous donors and the wonderful staff of the generous Women's Room, I live in a group home in Pasadena.  In a few years I should be eligible for a kidney transplant.  My only income is a monthly disability check.  I need donations toward transportation and food.  I would also like to save towards unexpected medical expenses and I'm going to need a caregiver after surgery which isn't covered by Medi-Cal.  I'm eternally grateful to the donors, many who were total strangers to help my situation.
