John Paul's Medical Funds

The last couple of weeks of December are a time in which most families, including ours, reflect and give thanks for the past year's blessings. While we remain grateful for all that we do have, right now our family has to face what's perhaps one of the most difficult situations we have ever confronted.


This past Christmas weekend, after he felt ill, our dear John Paul Taveras who he is affectionally known as Titi amongst his family, was unfortunately diagnosed with ALL= Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. He was born on September 16, 2007 and we just celebrated his 8th birthday.

John Paul loves soccer & basketball, his favorite teams include FC Barcelona and the Golden State Warriors. Not only that but he is a loving son, brother, cousin, grandson, nephew and friend to all those who surround him, and as you can imagine this news has caused his family a lot of pain, worry and sadness.

As his aunt, I've decided to reach out to those who know John Paul personally and hopefully even reach those who have yet to meet him in hopes that we can all come together to help his family during this time. As you all might know, these medical treatments needed to help him are costly and we would like to ask that you help us in any way that you can. All we want is to make sure that he can go back to being the happy, outgoing, athletic kid we all know him to be. So whether you can give $5 or $500, we hope that you find it in your heart to help our family face this situation and our concerns about financing his medical care. His parents have worked diligently to make sure that he was taken care of, but now it's our turn as a community to step in and help them so they can be by their child's side.



We ask that you please send him all of your prayers and positive energy so that we can soon have him back in good health being the boy that we all love and care about so much.
