Hello Everyone!
11 women of Kappa Kappa Gamma Beta Rho, a sorority on the University of Cincinnati's campus, are venturing on our 2nd Annual Service Trip.
This year, we willl be heading to Washington, D.C. and assisting in the lives of the homeless. There are about 300,000 homeless people in the area, and this is a wonderful opportunity for our amazing chapter to make a difference. While in D.C., we will also be visiting the headquarters of Kappa Kappa Gamma's national philanthropy, Reading Is Fundamental. RIF focuses on the importance of literacy in the lives of children, but mostly those who live in underprivilaged homes and areas. We are extrememly excited to tour the headquarters of RIF and do a few read-alouds with the local children.
The price altogether will be around $7,590.oo for all 11 of us, which is our goal.
-$6,990.00 goes towards our service project supplies while in D.C., housing for the week, our service guide that is provided for us, and food for the entire 5 days we are there.
-$600.oo goes towards our transportation to D.C. and back to Cincinnati.
Thankfully, we will also be doing fundraising on the University of Cincinnati's campus, but have a short amount of time until the trip in August!!
We are asking for any bit of help possible to make this trip happen for us and so we can really enjoy this amazing experience with our Kappa sisters.
Thank you an incredible amount for your love and support :)
