Support for Justine

Hello MANNA Fam,

Today I am writing to ask you to support our dear colleague and friend, Justine Redden.

On Saturday night, Justine’s home caught on fire. We are incredibly grateful everyone made it out safely, but unfortunately Justine's beloved cat Cleo passed from the incident. Not only has Justine lost her best feline friend, but she has lost all of her personal belongings as well.

There is already a GoFundMe page circulating in Asheville to support the relocation fees for Justine and her 2 roommates, and it is intended that the funds raised will be divided equally between the three roommates. In less than 24 hours we have already raised nearly $10k! This will be a huge help for each of them to secure new housing in Asheville, which we all know is a challenging and expensive task. Many Thanks to everyone that has donated!

That being said, Justine will also need to purchase a new car - yet another expensive To-Do on her list. I know that the MANNA network is strong, with INCREDIBLE partnerships and connections throughout Western North Carolina. Just as we take care of our neighbors, I know we also take care of our own… Let’s work together to help Justine purchase a new car!
