Hi, my name is Jessica. My baby brother, Skyler, is 25 years old. He recently got married only to find out months later he has pancreatic cancer. His wife is a nurse. They have medical insurance but their annual cap is still very high. He has 5 cancer spots in his pancreas. He has to have a surgery which will take out his entire pancreas, spleen, gall bladder, duodenum, bile duct, and 1/3rd of his stomach. He will become a type 1 diabetic instantly, and will have to learn to navigate that. He will want to get a pump and sensor for his diabetes. We are not sure yet if insurance will cover that at all.

My brother and his wife are a young couple just starting out trying Manage life and to be hit with such horrible news has been very hard on them and the entire family.
