My name is Amy and I’m fundraising for my twin sister Julie Ober who was recently diagnosed with cancer. After several scans and doctors visits, her final diagnosis is Stage 3 Squamous Cell rectal cancer. She is in a lot of pain that they are trying to control and she begins her first radiation and chemotherapy treatments on Monday, October 17th.

Due to the cancer and her treatment schedule she isn’t able to work for the foreseeable future and could really use any assistance friends and family can provide. I’ve started this fundraiser to try to ease her mind about finances but she could also use other things to keep her spirits up. She would be most thankful for any prayers, cards or encouraging words.

Our father was diagnosed with cancer in August of 2020 and died two months later, our mother had a stroke 11 months ago and now this awful cancer diagnosis with Julie has been very overwhelming to our family. We are keeping a positive outlook and hope that 2023 is a better year than these last few!
