Help Heather Overcome Financial Struggles
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Heather.
I'm not sure where to start but a little about me; I'm a mother of two, an artist, and an overall nerd. However, I struggle with a major panic and anxiety disorder that can leave me out of commission for weeks at a time. I had my first serious panic attack that happened at the end of September in 2022. I couldn't eat or sleep, I was shaking all the time, and I was having various other issues with my heart as well. I got medicated, things seemed to have gotten better although I'd have small attacks here and there. That changed until this year in April. I went in for a glucose tolerance test and without my knowledge, my blood sugar was up to 349 which meant I probably should have gone to the hospital but I didn't. I knew something was wrong and I'm sure it's what triggered the panic attack. It lasted 3 weeks with some ER visits that let me know my panic attacks were raising my blood pressure to dangerous levels.
The day I came home from the ER, our water heater popped a huge leak that needed to be fixed although we didn't really have the money for it. Ultimately, this panic attack kept me from working and when I could start working my hours were heavily cut, which I don't blame them due to me not being able to control them and they being such an unknown factor. But this hurt us financially, so much so we are severely behind on our house payments (3 months), car payments (2 months) and I haven't really checked the others out of fear of just how bad it is. We're currently in the process of selling some of our things off to try and cover some of the cost and I'm asking for the minimum but I'd like to hopefully get enough to buffer us so we can get our bank account out of the negative.
With that said, any help that can be given will mean the world to me and my family, more than you'll probably ever know.
Thank you, sincerely.
